What does the future for RES look like?
While we don’t have any big plans for the future I would love to see RES become a popular brand for made to order horse gear. Seeing the brand grow and become many aussies favourite brand is the ultimate goal! Hearing people talk about RES and say ‘that’s my favourite brand!’ is something I can only hope for in the future and I would love to be able to establish a brand that people truly love. In the future we would also love to open up to international customers and share the love with as many countries as possible, this is something I would like to explore sooner rather than later! I’m also interested in attending some events such as markets, equestrian events and festivals. I think holding a stall at Melbourne’s Equitana would be amazing and such a great opportunity to meet new and exisiting customers! After attending Equitana myself this year I would love to experience it again but as a business. RES will continue to trial and release new products as we grow and expand our customer base.
What is the most popular product?
We have so many to choose from but our halters have definitely been our most popular product since the beginning of RES for sure! Now we have many different styles of halter but the 4 knot noseband rope halters and the classic braided rope halters are definitely our top 2 best sellers! Especially the classic braided halters, they still have a bit of your own personality in the design but I think people can’t go past the simplicity as something that is so versatile for so many horses. Our halters are an essential staple in any tack room and I think this is why they prove to continue to be our best sellers!
How to choose the right rope halter for my horse?
Many of our rope halters are very versatile and suitable for all horses but some styles have features for a more specific use. It can be difficult to decide which halter is the one for you which is why we are here to help you choose the best one! The 4 knot noseband halter can assist in training a stronger horse effective leading skills to then transfer them into a more simple halter such as the basic rope halter. The basic rope halter has clear, direct and soft contact best for suitable for training as well as everyday use. You could think of the basic rope halter as the ‘Jack of all trades’ it really is the perfect style for every purpose, especially when you can’t decide! Our braided halter styles such as the classic and the fishtail are best suited to an already lead trained horse but could aid in training for semi established leading skills, the added braiding makes for a more rigid and thicker noseband.
